The Code Enforcement Division is responsible for all investigations and enforcement action for the St. Tammany Parish's Land Use Regulations, Building Codes and Fill Ordinances. Code Enforcement Officers handle the matter from the initial complaint all the way to either compliance with the ordinances or any appropriate legal action through St. Tammany Parish Bureau of Administrative Adjudication or the 22nd Judicial District Court in Covington, Louisiana.
If you would like to report a possible violation to the Enforcement Division by email for investigation, please provide the following information:
Three (3) steps to register a complaint:
- Clearly identify the specific type of complaint or nuisance. (Trash & debris, junk vehicles, etc.)
- Give your name and phone number. You can be anonymous, but it will be part of the public record.
- Know the physcal address and/or the owner of the property you are calling about. If the address is unknown, specific details of the location of the property are required.
