The Grants office is responsible for writing and administering all grants received by St. Tammany Parish Government. They include grants for:

• drainage studies and improvements,
• parish wastewater consolidation plan,
• water and sewerage systems for low-income high-density communities,
• flood hazard mitigation,
• emergency operations preparedness by first responders,
• park and ride facilities,
• rural transportation,
• enhancements to the Tammany Trace,
• funding for the Community Action Agency,
• temporary assistance to low-income persons.
  

Annually, the Grants office manages approximately 100 grants.
