The Department of Health and Human Services is responsible for administering the Parish’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). St. Tammany Parish receives CDBG funds through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.      St. Tammany Parish was designated as an entitlement community in 2008. This designation makes the Parish eligible to receive CDBG funds directly from HUD.
