The Department of Health and Human Services is responsible for administering the Parish's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). St. Tammany  Parish             receives these funds throught the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.                                                    St. Tammany Parish was designated as and entitlement community in 2008.
